Miss Kaden, AAS ECE Director

Miss Kaden began her career in Early Childhood Education in 2018 and earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Montana Western in 2020. Miss Kaden is the Director for STEAMboat Kids Childcare and the teacher for the morning and afternoon PreK classes.

“Watching preschoolers complete a task without help is one of my favorite things about working with
them. It is so gratifying to see the pride in their eyes when the task is done. The early years of a child’s life
are full of growth and learning. It’s so rewarding knowing that I have a positive effect on their lives, that I am contributing to the development of their minds.”

Miss Indi

Miss. Indi has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2018. Working in large and small groups, Miss Indi has learned about developmentally appropriate environments and creating healthy, safe spaces for exploration. Miss Indi is working on obtaining her Child Development Associate in the next year.

“I get so much joy out of working with children. Not only are they fun, they are engaging, empowering, and therapeutic. It is so rewarding watching a child learn and teaching them new things. They enjoy the simple things in life and we as adults can learn a lot from them.”

Ms. Michelle, BS ECE

Michelle has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2002. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Montana Western in 2021. Michelle owns Jitterbug Childcare, a Star 5 program in East Helena and has volunteered with the Girl and Boy Scouts for 23 years.

“Working with young children, their families, my peers, and the educational and support organizations that promote the betterment of the Early Childhood profession is my passion. I love to see a student discover the wonder of science or travel to magical places through a book.”

“I have a passion for teaching! My goal as a teacher is to connect with each student and family to make sure they are getting the best experience they can get!”
